New approach to high volume epoxy sealing

Multi-Seals offers an innovative alternative to liquid epoxy for high-volume, high-quality epoxy sealing applications. Uni-form epoxy preforms are one-part epoxy resins that are solid at room temperature. When heated, Uni-forms melt and cure, forming a consistent seal that protects components from dust, moisture, oil, flux, solvents, conformal coatings, and other contaminants.

Rapid curing adhesive has non-yellowing properties

Master Bond EP30-4 is a transparent, low viscosity fast curing adhesive, sealant and coating. It is especially recommended for applications requiring rapid cure without adding external heat. When EP30-4 is spread in films thin as 0.025in, it will become tack free in as little as 30 minutes. This makes it ideal for use as a conformal coating where heating the components or substrate is not possible.

No-drip solder paste formulation

Defence industry products

Henkel has published a handy selector chart for Loctite brand products that are approved for use in the defence industry for rapid repair and proactive maintenance. Those products include threadlocking, retaining, gasketing, and threadsealing adhesives, cleaners, flat face bonding adhesives, an epoxy fillers, an O-ring kit, gasket removers and an anti-seize product. The chart lists both the Loctite product number and NATO stock numbers.

In the September 2007 issue of Industrial Technology, Bob Orme, a Senior Technology Specialist at Henkel, maker of Loctite brand products, maintains that liquid gaskets produce seals that create better results than traditional materials.

The company manufactures in the UK the TEC range of glue guns and TECBOND shaped hot melt adhesives and it claims that the content of the new site gives users and distributors access to much more information than any other European adhesives and equipment manufacturer.

Reduce the chances of RSI with new hot melt system
