New nutrunners make light work of tightening

Designed to maximise comfort and ease of use, even in hard-to-reach areas, pistol-grip nutrunners in the new ErgoSpin ESM range from Bosch Rexroth feature a lightweight yet robust construction, and have an integrated LED spotlight that brightly illuminates the tightening area. Activated by pressing the tool's start button, the spotlight can be programmed to operate for one to 99 seconds, and can also, if necessary, be disabled.

The new nutrunners are available in versions with torque ranges of 2.4 to 12Nm and 5.0 to 25Nm. The 12Nm models are offered with a choice of a 1/4in square output drive or a quick-change chuck. The 25Nm models can be supplied with either a plain 3/8in square drive or a 3/8in square drive plus a Hirth tooth system for use with accessories such as central nut tightening jigs.

The ergonomic construction featured by all nutrunners in the new ErgoSpin ESM range ensures high user acceptance and helps to minimise operator fatigue, thereby boosting productivity. Further productivity gains are made possible by the durable construction of the new tools that incorporate non-contact angle and torque sensors and which are designed to operate for at least one million cycles at full load without requiring maintenance.
