Kontron announces products featuring the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors

Kontron has announced new boards and modules featuring the 12th Gen Intel Core processors (Codename Alderlake-S series) for the Internet of Things. Kontron will update the current mini-ITX, µATX and ATX motherboards with this new processor series, and has also selected it as the first platform to adopt the new PICMG COM-HPC/Client form factor, as it serves best new technology trends set by COM-HPC client specification.

The Igus ‘chainge’ program has officially begun in the UK. Igus energy chains are now been recycled in a circular way, allowing them to be reused in the company’s own innovation display stands. Working in collaboration with recycling partner MyGroup in Hull, old energy chains were remanufactured into storm boards – versatile structural recycled plastic boards.

AC cabinet cooling fans cut energy consumption by more than 30%

EAO has introduced a new series of energy efficient electronically commutated (EC) axial fans. The latest additions to the Sanyo Denki San Ace family of equipment cooling fans, the San Ace 172AD and 172ADW measure just 99mm by 250mm but deliver the cooling performance and low noise requirements demanded by high static pressure cooling applications such as FFU (fan filter units), air purifiers, cooling inverters and high-density telecom cabinets.

New high voltage scalable LXI matrix module from Pickering Interfaces

Pickering Interfaces has launched the 65-218, a 50x4, 1-pole LXI matrix plug-in modules. Used in conjunction with the 65-200-002 LXI modular chassis, these modules are part of a scalable, high voltage matrix platform that enables the construction of matrices of up to 300x4 in steps of 50x4.
