With the new E.Fox S 10 automatic stripping device from Phoenix Contact, wires are stripped easily and efficiently with consistently high-quality results. Its special V-shaped blades cover a cross-section range from 0.08 to 10 mm2. With the optional flat blade, it processes flat-ribbon cables up to a width of 7.6 mm.
The new automatic stripping device is operated via an intuitive 5" touch display. The tilted display makes it easier to read and operate the device when seated or standing. The user interface is clearly arranged and self-explanatory thanks to the use of icons and the visualisation of the stripping parameters.
The short cycle time of 0.3 s and parameter adjustment via electric drives ensure fast stripping processes with repeat accuracy. Recurring stripping parameters can be saved in the form of up to 100 favourites. These can optionally be linked to a barcode and accessed using a handheld scanner. The open insertion area is illuminated so that wires can be inserted quickly and precisely from the front and from above.
By integrating the automatic stripping device into the clipx Wire Assist worker assistance system, efficiency can be further increased, while errors are reduced by the software-supported process.
The automatic device is controlled via the Ethernet interface by the clipx Wire Assist worker assistance software and the stripping parameters such as the cross-section, stripping length, and pull-off length are sent directly from the project to the E.Fox S 10.
