Ultra-low-profile electric footswitch offers improved operator comfort
Herga Technology has launched a new rear-hinged ultra-low-profile footswitch with a height of just 10 mm that offers improved operator comfort by reducing calf and Achilles strain. With an electrical rating 24 V DC at 50 mA and SPST N/O contact configuration, the 6250 series 'Flatswitch' is designed to meet commercial standards for comfortable prolonged use on medical and office equipment as well as industrial machinery.
>The compact footswitch has a surface area of 160 mm x 100 mm and is finished in durable high impact polystyrene with IPx7 protection as standard and IPx8 on request. With its light-weight operation, the ergonomic and innovative 6250 will complement and help improve the performance characteristics for original equipment and operator controlled machinery manufacturers. Standard colour is Blue/White with other colours available for minimum order quantities.
