Touch-protected PCB connectors with screw connection
The PC 16 HC series with extended touch protection from Phoenix Contact now also features classic screw connection technology for worldwide use.

The connectors are characterised by a current carrying capacity of 76 A and voltages of up to 1,000 V at standard ambient temperatures above 40degC. Rigid and flexible conductors up to 25 mm2 and conductors with ferrules up to 16 mm2 can be connected in a 10.16 mm pitch.
The PC 16 HC series connectors offer a high level of safety even when not connected, thanks to the extended touch protection in accordance with the IEC/UL 61800-5-1 standard. The pin connector pattern is compatible with the LPC 16 lever-actuated PCB connectors. They are available in 2- to 6-position versions.
In addition to the standard version without connector and header locking, there is also a version with a centre flange. The centre flange is very space-saving compared to the conventional screw flange. It is colour-coded and can be operated intuitively.
