Time and cost savings in frame construction
As part of Henrob's ongoing development programs, designed to address the real needs of framing manufacturers and others, the company has developed the unique
E-frame riveting system which is capable of inserting two self-piercing rivets simultaneously in typical channel framing products.
This brings immediate production cost savings, as no holes are required in the channels before inserting the rivets, and there is no need to flip the frame over to complete the assembly operation.
Insertion of the rivets is quick and clean, with no drilling, welding, grinding or subsequent painting of the frames required. Henrob reports that major framing manufactures both in the UK and abroad are already making real cost savings and product quality improvements through the use of the E-frame self-pierce riveting system, with both manually operated and fully automated systems available.
