>TRI-STEP includes a high strength oversize design and a thin walled design that is available in two standard lengths. Both ranges provide high performance, excellent location, reduced insertion time and low in-place cost. Key advantages include: a high pull-out and direct torque performance; a large clearance between the leading vane diameter and top hole diameter, equivalent to tapered insert designs; and excellent location, eliminating misalignment during installation. The design eliminates insert spring back after installation, commonly associated with tapered inserts, and it provides an increased surface contact area with mating components giving greater resistance to a torque induced 'jack-out'.
