tesa technology days bring solutions and knowledge to customers
tesa has been supplying the automotive industry in both OEM and aftermarket sectors for many years and with the launch of its latest product range - tesa ACXplus - it has added a new dimension of technical capability temporary and permanent bonding of components to the vehicle.
To raise awareness of its automotive products and solutions, the company held a series of Technology days for OEMs aimed at engineering, design and purchasing personnel to showcase its automotive product range.
The events took place at the premises of major motor manufacturers in the UK, with a full tesa team in attendance, including experts from the company's headquarters in Hamburg and a Key Account Manager from the Automotive division in Japan.
During the day guests had the opportunity to visit the open exhibition, showcasing a variety of automotive applications, including: attachment part mounting; interior (conformable interior mounting and cable mounting solutions); car body (hole covering, permanent paint protection and laser labelling solutions); wire harnessing and temporary (design and paint masking, and surface protection.
In addition tesa automotive experts delivered a series of special technical presentations, explaining products and system solutions and providing hands-on training.
Sean Bayliss, automotive technical sales for tesa UK, commented: "We want to create a better way of communicating with customers - one that doesn't significantly interfere with their daily activities - and as the Technology Days were held on-site customers were able to access information easily.
The Tech Days were a success, with attendees gaining a better understanding of both the company and solutions and we will work closely in cooperating with our customers in the future to build on this."
