Tailoring electricity services to match the needs of the manufacturing sector
Northumbria University is inviting manufacturers and engineering companies to help with research on how these sectors select and engage with energy providers. Final year students at the university have developed an online survey to gather insights from manufacturers on their current practices, challenges and relationships with energy providers.
The consultancy project forms part of the students' work with The Business Clinic, and the aim is to aid the energy providers in tailoring their approach to better meet the needs of the manufacturing sector. The survey is anonymous, and the data collected will help shape recommendations for improving industry engagement and service offerings.
