KUKA has appointed table tennis superstar Timo Boll as its Chinese brand ambassador. Boll, the most successful German table tennis player ever, enjoys great popularity in China, where he will represent the KUKA brand. KUKA and Timo have a lot in common: Boll stands for almost unrivaled speed, precision, and flexibility - qualities that are also valued by Asian clients in KUKA robots. That's why KUKA established a brand-new plant in Shanghai in December 2013. To celebrate the grand opening on 11 March 2014, Timo will duel against KUKA's lightening fast Agilus robot.
