Disc springs are conical washer type components designed to be axially loaded and provide high levels of deflection resistance within a very small space. They can be assembled into stacks to achieve load characteristics to meet the specific needs of any application.
>Now available from Spirol Industries is a range of stainless steel disc springs. The new austenitic stainless steel disc springs are manufactured from SAE 301 stainless steel and have a plain finish. They can be used in a wide range of applications where anti-corrosion properties are essential.
>Spirol's disc springs are produced in accordance with DIN 2093 which sets out the tolerances, size range and materials to be used. The stainless steel range covers outside diameters from 8.00-71.00mm with material thicknesses 0.4-2.00mm as standard.
>Special size disc springs, tolerances and materials can be supplied and Spirol also provides an 'Optimal Application Engineering' process to help customers to design a new application or redesign an existing job, resulting in a fastening solution with lower assembly costs.
