The latest generation of modular spindle screw drivers from Weber Automatic Assembly Systems, the SA series, is targeted at applications ranging from the simple fastening tasks through to the most demanding high torque, repetitive jobs, ensuring maximum productivity and profitability from assembly operations.
Reliability and durability are important criteria when undertaking high output assembly operations, particularly when application efficiency is the number one priority in meeting modern assembly production targets. To ensure that a multitude of fastening tasks can be accomplished using the same tooling, Weber has designed an automatic feed system on its SA series screwdrivers that can be used with screws, nuts, studs or many other types of fastener.
Spindle modularity on the SA series has helped to maximise tool flexibility. The spindle combines a functional, user-friendly design within a compact envelope, ensuring that maintenance downtime, toolchanges and cycle times are kept to an absolute minimum. One of the methods helping to achieve this is by parallel mounting both the head and bit stroke modules, so reducing the overall length of the driver assembly.
