Southco expands A4 pin latch line with new push to open / push to close stainless steel option
Southco has expanded its A4 Pin Latch portfolio with the launch of a new Push to Open / Push to Close stainless steel pin latch, engineered to deliver clean aesthetics, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance in demanding environments.
Designed as a concealed latching solution, the new A4 Pin Latch features intuitive press to open and press to close operation combined with a flush mounted appearance. A single hole mounting design simplifies panel preparation while helping support efficient installation across a range of applications.
Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the latch is well suited for marine and aerospace environments, where resistance to corrosion, vibration and repeated use is critical. The latch can also be used in place of traditional cam or slam latches where a streamlined, unobtrusive panel design is desired.
To further support installation flexibility, the A4 Push to Open / Push to Close Pin Latch is available with a floating receptacle option, allowing it to absorb panel misalignment while maintaining consistent engagement over time.
As part of Southco's A4 product family, the new pin latch integrates seamlessly into a broader access hardware system, giving designers greater flexibility to create cohesive, reliable access solutions.
