SKF completes integration of SNFA into its business
SKF has announced that it has completed the integration of Societe Nouvelle de Fabrication Aeronautique (SNFA) into the SKF Group and consolidated the SNFA brand under the SKF brand. SKF precision bearings are found in machine tools and other applications where precision, quiet running and low friction rotation is necessary, such as high-performance racing, marine, and heavy industry.
"Over the last five years we have integrated our deep technical knowledge of super-precision bearings with SNFA's broad knowledge base of machine tool applications," says Henrik Lange, President, SKF Industrial Market Strategic Industries. "As a result, we can provide the industry with an improved and extended range of new-generation, super-precision bearings which let spindles run with higher accuracy and reliability.
