Robust, reliable and accurate inclination sensors for mobile machinery

A good example of this is their GIM600DR inclination sensor which has been specifically designed to ensure maximum robustness combined with high measurement accuracy in accordance with safety standards such as (ISO13849-1:2023).

Proof of the sensors exceptional resistance was the result of demanding endurance tests resulting in an IP69K rating and guaranteed corrosion protection up to CX (C5-M), along with further resistance to shocks, vibrations, dust, dirt, and salt-spray ingress. Easy integration into machinery is assured thanks to redundant standard interfaces including CANopen and SAE J1939 along with an ultra-compact housing measuring 72mm W x 24mm H x 64mm H. These key features and benefits help engineers simplify machine design, enabling higher performance in construction vehicles thanks to reliable, measured values for static stability control.

OEM's who have previously relied on the proven Baumer inclination sensors GIM140R or GIM500R can simply replace them with the new GIM600R and so benefit from enhanced performance safe in the knowledge that their systems are compliant with very latest safety standards. Additionally, the freeware Baumer Sensor Suite can also be used for the GIM600R providing parameterisation in an intuitive dashboard, saving even more engineering time.
