Material handling and automated pallet storage systems require robust and reliable distance/location measurements for an efficient system. With a measuring range up to 500 meters and repeatability of ±0.15mm (1sigma) the FLS-C-10 is a proven choice for position sensing in a variety of industrial applications requiring monitoring of position, level, or size. Properly integrated, they are also rugged enough to withstand extreme environments from -40°C to +50°C and are often used in steel/glass production facilities. There are also a wide range of output options such as 4-20mA, RS232C and SSI as standard, which are all programmable for process control.
