RFID IDENTControl interface with AIDA push-pull connection
Pepperl+Fuchs' RFID IDENTControl interfaces reliably control and evaluate read/write operations before the data is transferred to the higher control system. The impressive features of the IDENTControl industrial RFID include a robust design and integral EMC shielding concept. It supports all common RFID frequencies and can be connected to all standard fieldbuses.
Pepperl+Fuchs has extended its product portfolio for the IDENTControl to include an AIDA push-pull connection that fulfills the new standards for automotive manufacturers outlined in AIDA specifications. The Automation Initiative of German Automotive Manufacturers (AIDA) selected the PROFINET version of the AIDA push-pull connection as a standard for the automotive industry. AIDA makes the classic RJ45 plug suitable for industrial use. The new IDENTControl with AIDA connection IC-KP-B17-AIDA1 combines all the advantages of industrial RFID control interfaces from Pepperl+Fuchs.
The connection is robust, offers IP65 protection, and allows the flow of high current loads along large cable cross sections. A mechanical code makes it impossible to confuse the power supply connection with the fieldbus interface. The plug uses the push-pull plug concept.
