Regal Rexnord will return to the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, taking place from 20-24 July in Farnborough, UK, where it will present its latest aerospace capabilities. Visitors can meet the team at Hall 4, Booth 4130, to explore how the company's integrated portfolio of motion control solutions is supporting the next generation of aerospace and defence innovation.
As aerospace programs become more complex and timelines continue to compress, manufacturers are increasingly looking to work with fewer, more capable partners. Regal Rexnord's family of specialist brands - including Rexnord Aerospace, Portescap, Kollmorgen, Delevan, Nook, Thomson and Formsprag Clutch - will be on hand at the show to demonstrate how its wide range of products and 75+ years of aerospace expertise enable customers to source complete motion and control solutions from a single, trusted supplier.
Innovation across next-generation aerospace and defence
At Farnborough, Regal Rexnord will showcase its application-led approach, demonstrating how its technologies combine to support critical systems across the airframe. These include engine and APU systems, transmission and gearbox components, airframe and flight control systems, and weapon systems.
With the aerospace and defence sector entering a new phase of innovation driven by electrification, advanced air mobility (AAM), and next-generation defence platforms, OEMs are facing increasing pressure to develop, certify and scale new aircraft more quickly than ever before.
Regal Rexnord's extensive portfolio and integrated systems allow customers to adapt to this shift. By bringing together motors, gearing, braking, and motion control technologies within a single organization, the company helps simplify system design, reduce supplier complexity, and support faster paths to certification.
Electro-mechanical actuation in action
A key focus for Farnborough 2026 will be electro-mechanical actuation (EMA), with two live demonstrations showcasing how these systems are being applied across both commercial and defence aerospace.
In the first, visitors will be able to explore an EMA system designed for advanced air mobility applications, including eVTOL platforms. This interactive display provides a detailed look at how motors, gearing, and control elements are integrated within a single actuator, giving insight into how electro-mechanical systems are enabling lighter, more efficient aircraft architectures.
Elsewhere on the stand, expert engineers will demonstrate Regal Rexnord's newest design - a fin control actuation system (FinCAS) for defence applications. Designed for use in missile and unmanned systems, the range highlights how the same core electro-mechanical principles can be adapted to deliver precise, high-performance motion control in demanding environments.
Introducing the Aero platform
Alongside its actuation capabilities, Regal Rexnord will also showcase its new Portescap Aero motor line, developed specifically for aerospace applications.
The Aero platform has been engineered with a focus on size, weight, and power (SWaP) optimisation, as well as environmental robustness and certification readiness. Designed to meet DO-160G environmental standards, these motors are ruggedised to withstand harsh operating conditions, making a strong fit for both commercial and defence applications.
Crucially, these are not custom-only solutions. Instead, the platform is being introduced as a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) offering, giving engineers a pre-validated baseline from which to start, with the option to customise for specific requirements.
