Protection for critical components
Greene, Tweed has announced the launch of ProTechna, providing superior protection for critical components in harsh environments. ProTechna safeguards critical and sensitive components from aggressive fluids and harsh environmental conditions. It eliminates direct exposure to damaging conditions, such as temperature, pressure, chemicals, erosion, corrosion, and abrasion, to extend the operational service life and reliability of components.
ProTechna can be processed from a wide range of high performance elastomeric and thermoplastic materials, providing customers with a number of choices to suit their specific application needs.
Greene, Tweed's ProTechna technology can also be integrated with Seal-Connect, its proprietary line of electrical and fibre optic connectors. These connectors reduce the overall number of parts, forming a single assembly by joining functions and/or components together. This allows customers to design their tools using 'plug-and-play' functionality for faster and easier field redress.
