Profile rail enables higher machining rates
SKF has launched a new roller profile rail guide range designed to meet the needs of OEMs that require high stiffness and high load carrying capacity in a compact design. The advanced, modular design of the new SKF roller profile rail guide LLU range enables the accommodation of heavy loads and moment loads, making it ideal for use in a range of applications.
This includes machines for turning, milling and grinding in machine tools, presses and other heavy machinery equipment with demand for very precise and high load carrying guides. High rigidity, high dynamic and static load ratings, exceptional running smoothness and effective sealing of the carriage enable optimum machining rates, as well as enhancing the geometrical accuracy and surface quality of machined work pieces.
