PC enclosure fuses durability with iconic style
The InfoStation from ADM Automation should fit the bill for 80 percent of industrial desktop PC enclosure applications. Typically supplied for either touch screen or conventional mouse/keypad interfaces, the InfoStation is already used by machine builders and systems integrators within industrial automation systems, serving as control hubs for machine operators.
The InfoStation was never designed solely for industrial settings. It was created to be versatile, as much at home in corporate receptions and hotel lobbies as it is in the factory. As a result, it benefits from some quite creative and, some would say, iconic styling.
But while the anodised aluminium frame is undoubtedly attractive, its real function is to provide a durable and robust shell that offers full protection from the rigours of harsh industrial environments. The InfoStation's panels are thicker than is usual, while a base unit is available to prevent contact with the floor itself.
