OEM Automatic acquires Echobeach
OEM Automatic has acquired Echobeach, the Contaclip distributor for the UK. Contaclip is a major European manufacturer of connection systems and other associated electronic products and with this acquisition OEM Automatic greatly strengthens its product offering to manufacturers of control panels and switchgear.
As you may know Echobeach has represented and promoted Contaclip products in the UK for many years and OEM Automatic has worked alongside Echobeach for the last few years as a key distributor. Because of this OEM Automatic already has an excellent working knowledge of the Contaclip product range and can therefore offer excellent service from day one.
The entire business, including stock, was transferred to OEMs Leicester facility soon after takeover and will be fully merged into OEM Automatic from 1st April 2011.
The management of Contaclip are fully behind this development and they see OEM Automatic as a company whose superior resources, complementary product range and long experience in the UK market, make them an ideal partner to work with in the future.
