Machine Building North is delighted to welcome PIUK chairman Chris McComb as a presenter in the networking theatre, introducing the topic of Module Type Package, (MTP) and how it promotes interoperability and flexibility.
MTP is a standardised methodology used in modular process plants. It enables interoperability between modules and orchestration systems, allowing for easy addition, arrangement, and adjustment of pre-automated modular units according to production needs. Developed by NAMUR, MTP provides a framework for standardised equipment data models and description language to streamline interoperability.
Join Chris for an informative workshop at Machine Building North in the Concorde Centre in Manchester, from 10:15 to 10:45 in Theatre 2, to gain an understanding of MTP, along with NOA (NAMUR Open Architecture. You'll find out who is already utilising these technologies, and the benefits to be gained from adopting MTP and NOA, with an example of MTP and NOA integration.
