Motors certified for hazardous areas
Industrial motor supplier Exico has added Zone 21, Zone 2 and Zone 22 ATEX motors to its product portfolio, complementing its existing offering which includes Zone 1 motors. It has also passed its ISO 9001:2008 and QAN (Quality Assurance Notification - essential for companies offering ATEX motors).
>These approvals were identified as priority objectives on Exico's strategy to redevelop its own independent presence in the UK after ten years absence on the UK market. "With the new company we want to be able to address a wide range of motor users," explains sales director Lucie Hodkova.
>"We have a comprehensive offering of motors and related products for the general market and are working on a number of approvals and awards so that we can supply specialist markets, such as petrochemicals, food processing, cement, textiles and pharmaceutical manufacture."
