Motor condition monitoring
OMRON market development manager David Breckell discusses the company's new range of motor condition monitoring products. These can check vibration, temperature, that the load is in balance, insulation resistance and monitor the condition of the motor bearings.

Rather than taking a motor out of production, these checks can now be performed in real time, detecting the onset of faults long before they cause unscheduled downtime and lost production.
