Miniature nitro springs
Metrol Springs has introduced a miniature range of its Nitro Springs, designed to provide direct replacements for expensive die springs especially where space is at a premium and high forces are required. Mini Nitro Springs are designed to fit into the smallest of tools or act as a direct replacement for standard coil springs in problematic dies. Metrol reckons their compact design will be of great benefit to tool designers.
The Mini Nitro Springs come in 19, 25, 32 and 38mm diameters and the force can be set to four standard pressures - or if preferred, the customer can specify what pressure they wish to have the springs set to. General features of the Nitro Springs range include rugged construction, no metal fatigue, ease of maintenance and a high initial force on impact.
