A glance at the statistics reveals just how much the worldwide public admired Concorde. Almost all of the airframes have been preserved since the aircraft was decommissioned from public transport service, with all but two of the production run of 20 still in existence.
One Concorde airframe, 002 is on display at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton and can still be seen as it was used for testing, crammed full of instrumentation.
But if you'd like to see and inspect at first hand what is arguably the most famous Concorde of all, come to MachineBuilding.North on April 10th and inspect G-BOAC at first hand. As well as taking in all the latest developments in machinery safety and advances in machine building and factory automation innovation, you can take a free of charge guided tour of Concorde too.
And if you can tear yourself away from the interesting factory automation and machine building components being shown and demonstrated by almost 120 of the UK's top suppliers at MachineBuilding.North, you can also test your piloting skills in the adjacent flight simulator, courtesy of sponsors Euchner.
