M23 hybrid device connectors for wave soldering processes

New from Phoenix Contact are M23 hybrid device connectors for wave soldering processes, providing a space-saving 3-in-1 solution. They enable the reliable transmission of signals, data, and power in just one single connector.

The M23 hybrid connectors feature 80 percent faster mounting times and 60 percent space savings compared to a conventional stranded wire assembly. Eliminating the need for additional PCB connectors reduces costs, reduces PCB complexity, and minimises EMC risks. It also eliminates work steps with a high error potential, which further increases reliability.

The connectors are designed for voltages of up to 630 V AC/850 V DC and currents of up to 30 A, and support data rates of up to 100 Mbits (CAT5). They have been specially designed for wave soldering processes and comply with the RoHS II directive without exemption 6c. The M23 hybrid complete system includes PCB, device, and field connectors as well as hybrid cables.
