M12 PushPull Ethernet connector offers tool-free installation
In addition to offering the benefits of high connection density in industrial Ethernet applications with transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s, Harting's new M12 PushPull connector allows manual installation without the need for special tools, thus speeding up its installation in tight spaces.
>The M12 PushPull locking solution can be plugged rapidly and securely and indicates correct assembly with a clearly audible click. With its anti-slip safety ring, the connector can be reliably gripped and released under the most difficult conditions. This mounting solution also offers robustness and vibration resistance under demanding application conditions, such as those encountered in the rail industry. The bulkhead mounted connector is also threaded to be backwards compatible with standard M12 cable connectors.
>The absence of the unnecessary working space for tool access allows the connectors to be installed in more compact spaces, along with a higher packing density if several slots are required.
