IPC-based automation
When Digitec Engineering joined the Lenze group, it brought with it a wealth of industrial PC and IPC-based automation technology that has enhanced Lenze"s overall L-force portfolio. So you can now configure your automation project exactly as you wish either drive- based or PC-based with Lenze providing all the necessary components from a single source.
At the heart of the programme is the PCMatic automation system. This is based on powerful and rugged IPCs, real-time Windows operating systems and standard interface and communication protocols. Diverse controls and fieldbus systems, drives and I/O components can be integrated very easily. The PCMatic control system includes a soft-PLC based on the internationally recognised IEC 6131 (CoDeSys) standard. For customer-specific projects, a Siemens Step 7 compatible language is provided. In addition, autonomous PLC coprocessor systems are available as PC plug-in cards.
Other components include VisiWinNET a particularly powerful and sophisticated visualisation system for PCMatic. Integration into Microsoft"s .net framework, integrated drivers and an Ethernet network ensure universal data accessibility. Machine-oriented operation and access to system parameters from the control room or via the Internet are just as straightforward as links to warehouse management or Office applications. The code monitoring facility provided by .net ensures a high level of safety at runtime and provides plenty of scope for modifying the visualisation system to specific needs.
In addition to an Embedded Range, Lenze Digitec Controls also offers standalone IP65 operator stations from the Command Station range, as well as classic control cabinet PCs and 19in rack PCs. The modular system platforms mean the performance and configuration of these devices can be easily tailored to meet user requirements.
