Sensopart has integrated time-of-flight sensing into a space-saving miniature housing (dimensions 34 x 20 x 12 mm). Using visible red light, FT 25-RLHP time-of-flight sensor detects even the smallest objects at a range of up to 1,500mm.
The company says high-speed or high-precision applications are no challenge for the sensor. The customer can quickly and easily set the switching frequency with which the sensor is to operate.
In addition to a digital switching output, the FT 25-RLHP has the latest future-proof IO-Link interface 1.1.3. and a state-of-the-art smart sensor profile.
These characteristics suit the sensor to use in a broad range of industry sectors – particularly in applications requiring both long-distance scanning ranges and reliable detection. Typical examples are checking the occupancy of storage bays in high bay warehouses, checking the position of components in assembly processes or when controlling material flow, for example in the automotive industry, or extended safety assurance testing for autonomous vehicles.
