High-performance lubricants and smart technologies in focus

Zeller+Gmelin will be presenting its latest developments at Intec 2025, the international trade fair for machine tools, manufacturing and automation technology. From 11-14 March, the lubricant specialist will be presenting a selection of its lubricants and fluid management solutions - including the fully synthetic water-miscible cutting lubricant Zubora TTS PF and new high-performance cutting oils from the Multicut range.

High-performance lubricants and smart technologies in focus

With the Zubora and Multicut product lines, Zeller+Gmelin shows how modern water-miscible cooling lubricants (KSS) and cutting oils can further increase efficiency and sustainability in metalworking. One example is the fully synthetic KSS Zubora TTS PF, which is completely pictogram-free.

This not only brings advantages in the areas of occupational safety and storage, but also meets the highest requirements for health and environmental protection. "Our Zubora products combine sustainability with high performance," explains Dr Irene Kreitmeir, Product Manager for Lubricants at Zeller+Gmelin.

Multicut cutting oils for non-ferrous metal machining

In the area of cutting oils, Zeller+Gmelin presents Multicut products that have been specially developed for the demanding machining of non-ferrous metals. The products include the Multicut Grind HP 15 NF and the Multicut Plus 10 NF, which offer the best conditions for a long tool life and precise results. The special formulations of the cutting oils, including modern base oils designed for low consumption such as hydrocrack and ester oils, underline their sustainable orientation.

The Multicut Grind HP 15 NF was specially developed for cylindrical and profile grinding and, due to its compatibility with non-ferrous metals, is ideal for use in grinding machines in which, for example, parts made of copper or brass are installed. The portfolio is complemented by Multicut FSE HSC 15 NF for the most precise high-speed machining, Multicut Basic HP 15 Extra NF for demanding machining tasks and Multicut Plus 10 NF, a versatile cutting oil for medium-heavy applications.

Digitalisation in focus

In addition to lubricant innovations, Zeller+Gmelin is also focusing on the topic of Industry 4.0. With the ZG Fluid-Check Pro, developed jointly with HYDAC, the company is presenting an intelligent fluid management system that enables automated monitoring and control of cooling lubricants.

"With our smart cooling lubricant monitoring, manufacturing companies can increase their operational efficiency and minimize production downtimes," explains Thorsten Wechmann, Strategic Business Unit Manager at Zeller+Gmelin. The system measures parameters such as concentration, pH value and temperature in real time and automatically ensures efficient lubricant monitoring.

By integrating ZG Fluid-Check Pro into existing manufacturing processes, Zeller+Gmelin is making an important contribution to the implementation of the smart factory. The system not only optimises the service life of cooling lubricants, but also reduces the use of resources and the environmental impact.

Dr Irene Kreitmeir concludes: "Intec offers an excellent opportunity to present our latest developments and to talk to trade visitors from the metalworking industry. We look forward to presenting our solutions on site and entering into dialogue with our prospective customers."
