Heavy-duty connectors with screw-in thread

For easy and time-saving mounting of Heavycon D7 connectors, Phoenix Contact offers panel-mount bases with screw-in thread. They can be easily attached in round panel cutouts with an M25 or M32 counter nut or screwed directly into motors and devices with corresponding threads.

Heavy-duty connectors in size D7 enable the flexible, space-saving, and robust cabling of machines and systems. The new panel-mount bases with screw-in thread save a significant amount of time during mounting and thus offer a plug-in alternative to the existing cable gland.

The panel-mount bases and sleeve housings are available in corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminium or high-quality plastic angled and straight versions. They are characterised by their particularly compact and robust design.

Featuring IP66 and IP67 degree of protection, they provide optimum protection against dust and water and are designed for a temperature range from -40 to +125degC. This enables safe use even in outdoor applications. Conductive surfaces and seals ensure reliable EMC protection and safe operation. In addition, the Heavycon D7 connectors are shock- and vibration-resistant in accordance with DIN EN 61373.

With these features, they provide an ideal solution for reliable, space-saving signal, power, and data transmission. The panel-mount bases for round panel cutouts also ensure fast installation in various applications.
