HBK launches durability and reliability Technology Days 2025

HBK is proud to announce the launch of durability and reliability Technology Days 2025. A fully virtual and free to attend event taking place across three dates in November. This interactive series once again brings together engineers, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the latest advancements in fatigue, reliability, and structural health.

HBK launches durability and reliability Technology Days 2025

HBK Technology Days 2025 will feature six in-depth sessions, lasting around 90 minutes each, offering participants a unique opportunity to learn and deepen their technical knowledge; exploring durability and reliability challenges and solutions shaping the future - and engage with leading experts.

Day 1 - Tuesday, 4 November

Session 1: Fatigue crack growth - introduction, theory and testing

Session 2: Fatigue crack growth - characterisation, threshold and WholeLife

Day 2 - Tuesday, 11 November

Session 3: Fatigue at elevated temperature

Session 4: Reliability modelling and shaker testing

Day 3 - Tuesday, 18 November

Session 5: Reliability data models

Session 6: Fatigue test data management and structural health monitoring

Each session provides practical insights, from fatigue testing and prediction for crack growth and elevated temperature, through smart testing to integrate physical and virtual testing, to advanced reliability modelling, and real-world structural health monitoring solutions.

"This event, now in its sixth year online, and these sessions, have been built to provide engineers with practical tools they can apply directly to their work - from in-depth fatigue topics and reliability subjects, to managing the huge quantities of data they generate," said event organiser Rob Plaskitt.

"It is a collaborative event where engineers and innovators can come together to share ideas, tackle challenges, and help to shape the future of durable, reliable, and sustainable engineering. We want participants to feel they have learned something."
