In a companion development to its recently announced cable shunting ring, Emka has announced the 1071-U1 cable grommet which eases cable installation and enhances cable protection in network cabinets, open frameworks, patch panels etc. The 1071-U1 grommet, supplied in strips of 13 pieces, is produced in low density polyethelyne which confers improved cable cushioning and support, and ease of cable pulling for all cable types up to 8mm outer diameter. Fitment is a simple push fit through a standard 10mm square hole with each grommet moulded at 15mm centres along the 13 piece strip.
