Murrelektronik's y-coded M12 connectors can transfer data and power in one connector. The metal y-coding separates the four contacts for power transfer from the four signal contacts in the pin arrangement. This makes it possible to transfer up to 100 mbit/s data while 2 x 6 A power are available.
