From the Machinery Directive to Machinery Regulation
ReeR Safety's free-of-charge 2026 training webinar series moves from talking about products to legislation. Therefore, the next webinar looks at the EU Machinery Regulation, (EU) 2023/1230 and its impact on the machinery sector.

After more than 20 years working to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, January 2027 sees the introduction of the Machinery Regulation, which aims to update the regulatory framework to reflect the technological evolution of machinery and the way machines are designed, connected and managed today.
Machine safety and CE marking consultant, Adolfo Fiaccadori will talk through the key changes and highlight what the transition to the new Regulation means in practice: from Directive 2006/42/EC to Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 - what changes and why?; technological and regulatory developments; why a new Machinery Regulation?; benefits for manufacturers, users and authorities; and the new field of application. There will also be a live Q&A.
