The conveyor with back lighting is ideal for automated production lines that require on-going visual inspections. The belt allows light to pass through it and illuminate the products which are checked for material faults, position, completeness, or contour abnormalities either by cameras or by the human eye.

The belt conveyor with integrated flat-panel metal detector will assist the plastic and wood industries in the use of machines such as granulators, shredders, or chippers to reduce material to smaller fragments. These machines can be severely damaged if the material contains any metal impurities.

The metal detector is installed inside the conveyor body and it scans piece goods and bulk materials up to a height of 100mm. If metal is detected the motor is stopped and a connected signalling unit issues a visual and audio warning. A lateral guide stops the material from falling and an additional PE strip guides the product.
