Enclosures with pre-formed metric knockouts
Norstat now offers the MBI-M Series, an enclosure designed with pre-formed metric knockouts on all four sides.
MBI enclosures series come in a wide range of sizes with the main focus being industrial installations. MBI enclosure bases are designed with pre-formed metric knockouts on all four sides for cable entry while also being able to be opened via a 4-screw lid. Basic colour is light grey but production in special colours is also available.
MBI enclosures are made of glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate in light grey colour that is UV-resistant (UL 746C F1) and self-extinguishing (UL 94 V0). They have a seamlessly foamed 2-component polyurethane gasket achieving a protection class of IP66. The cover screws are made of plastic and therefore they are completely corrosion-free.
The impact resistance of the enclosures corresponds to IK08, making the MBI series ideally suitable for use in industrial and outdoor applications.
