Enabling switch for wireless functional safety
Dold has expanded its Safemaster W system for wireless functional safety with the introduction of a wireless enabling switch. It meets the needs of engineers who have to work inside a dangerous area while the machine is in a special operation mode, such as during test, programming and maintenance.
The TUV approved 3-step radio-controlled Safemaster W enabling switch provides the necessary safety functions. It allows safe operation and safe disconnection in a dangerous situation. It is designed for universal usage and allows maximum mobility and flexibility. In the event of danger, the operator presses the button fully or releases it from its middle position; the machine then goes into its safe state.
