Easy to install field plugs offer reliable connections

>Metz Connect offers the C6A RJ45 field plug in a straight 180° and a variable 360° variant. Due to their compact design, the two field plug variants are suitable for multiport applications and can therefore be used in extremely confined spaces. To provide a reliable flow of data, both versions of the C6A RJ45 field plug pro are shielded against external EMC interference by a die-cast zinc housing. The new C6A RJ45 field plug pro offers the transmission technology features of Cat.6A in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06 (Class EA) and is therefore suited for transmission up to 10 GBit. Power over Ethernet is possible with the variants PoE, PoE plus and UPoE.

>The straight plug for field assembly consists of two components, the variable 360° variant of four components. Both plug variants can be reconnected. Hence, the plug can, for example, be dismantled and reused in case of cable damage or connection errors.

>As well as industrial applications, Metz Connect reports that its C6A RJ45 field plug pro also supports HDBaseT 5Play 4K digital multimedia transmission for distance up to 100m, with its connectors and Cat.7/7A cabling supporting transmission of 4K image quality video from sources including laptops, blu-ray players and 4K media players to HD and 4K displays.
