Double-sheet detection sensors from Contrinex

Contrinex claims its innovative double-sheet detection sensors offer double-sheet detection at a drastically reduced price to other solutions.

They are said to be ideal for protecting machines from accidentally being fed with two sheets (for example protecting stamping presses), or ensuring two metals are in place for assembly operations.

The one-piece stainless steel (V2A) housing and sensing face means the sensors are highly robust. Providing a fit and forget solution for remote and harsh environments, they are IP68/IP69K rated and are resilient to mechanical shocks and vibration. And in addition to their long sensing range, they also provide IO-Link communications.
