Concealed hinge is a user-friendly design
Dirak's 4-125SL concealed hinge Pr03 130deg for surface mounted doors features an innovative, user-friendly design that allows for instances where the door has to lifted off for maintenance. In addition the hinge incorporates Dirak's D-SNAP technology for quick and easy installation.
The design of the hinge means that it can be installed and released from the front without the need for access to the back. Installation of the hinge onto closed profiles is also a simple matter, and subsequent door installation is an easy and tool-free operation: just by pushing the door into the hinged position, the spring-loaded closing bolt of the door part will slide behind the hinge pin automatically. The special design of the spring mounted latch means that one person can install the door part without tools.
For removal, the pin in the frame part is pulled, and the door is lifted off. The pin stays captive, attached to the frame part. For reinstallation of the door, the pin is pushed and latched back into place. The hinge is optimised to simplify maintenance in cases where it is necessary to remove the enclosure doors. Water and dust-tight according to IP65, the hinge is suitable for both right and left hand doors.
