RS Components expands RS PRO range of high-quality enclosures for electrical installations

RS Components has expanded its RS PRO portfolio of enclosures designed for industrial applications. For use by factory maintenance technicians and electrical installers, the expanded range of RS PRO enclosures now features new units manufactured from fibre-glass-reinforced plastic, moulded by hot compression techniques. All the enclosures come in a light grey colour (RAL 7035) and are supplied with a galvanised-steel backplate and wall-mounting fixings. The units are especially ideal for transportation applications.

ABB teams up with Yinson on offshore oil and gas project in Brazil

ABB has signed an agreement with energy solutions provider Yinson for electrical, control and telecommunication equipment and services onboard the FPSO Anna Nery bound for the Marlim 2 oil field in Campos Basin, Brazil. Yinson secured the contract to convert the 2002 Crude Oil Tanker leading operations and maintenance of the FPSO. The vessel is planned to operate on the field for 25 years.
