Valve island with new valve size increases flexibility

Asco has added a new valve size to its valve island range which gives users greater flexibility across a variety of applications and industries. The Asco Numatics valve islands boast a wide capacity range of 400 l/min to 3820 l/min. The new 502 Series valve means that the range can now handle new mid-range flow requirements of up to 650 l/min. New base plates also mean it is possible to combine two sizes of valve on one island, enabling users to easily manage both valve actuator control and pneumatics.

Elesa’s new range of magnetic plugs collect ferrous/magnetic particles inside machinery such as gearboxes, engines, pumps and so on which are subject to wear. Once collected about the magnetic core of the plug these particles are separated from lubricating/hydraulic oil and are thus not able to cause further wear or damage.

The latest example of an innovative design philosophy applied to the control of DC motors with the emphasis on developing compact, flexible, energy-efficient solutions, has recently been introduced by Rotalink. Its output shaft absolute encoders provide accurate positional information to a resolution of ± 0.35º with a performance which is unaffected by power loss and is self-correcting in the event of electrical interference.
