Elesa introduces MPI-R10 magnetic measuring system with seven-digit display, for linear or angular measurement

The new Elesa MPI-R10 magnetic measuring system in IP54 or IP67 housing provides seven-digit remote readout of linear or angular measurements. Offering a solution which benefits the operative to manage equipment safely, accurately and quickly without the need to personally access the materials or the measuring head. Whilst providing an accuracy of ±0.1mm and a resolution of 0.01mm, it is suitable for use in many sectors and industries. Spirol launches new series of moulded-in aluminium threaded inserts for plastics

Spirol has introduced a new, high-performance series of moulded-in inserts for plastics assemblies. The rugged design of the Series 63 through hole inserts and Series 65 blind end inserts consists of multiple bands of helical knurls to maximise torque resistance, balanced with radial undercuts to achieve high pull-out (tensile) force. These moulded -in inserts are designed to be placed in the mould cavity prior to plastic injection, and offer exceptional performance due to unrestricted plastic flow into the retention features on the outside diameter of the Inserts.

5V to 28V, 12.5A rated output models added to wide range input buck-boost DC-DC converter series

TDK Corporation announces the introduction of 12.5A 300W rated models to the i7C series of non-isolated DC-DC converters. The output voltage of these step-up and step-down converters can be adjusted from 5 to 28V and they accept a wide range input voltage of 9 to 53V. The converters seamlessly transition from buck to boost mode operation without disruption in performance.

Weg introduces live remote factory acceptance testing

Motor and drive manufacturer Weg has developed a new testing procedure that allows customers to witness the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) process without travelling to a WEG manufacturing plant. Used in Portugal since March 2020, the remote testing system helps to keep projects on schedule despite social distancing regulations limiting factory visits.
