Germany"s largest solar park relies on Delta inverters for single-axis tracking

Wattmanufactur, a long-standing partner of Delta Electronics, recently opened the Lottorf Solar Park with the Germany federal party chairman Dr Robert Habeck in attendance. The 10 MWp solar park in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg/Schleswig-Holstein is currently the largest ground-mounted photovoltaic system in Germany with a single-axis tracker system that follows the sun from east to west.

JVL, the Danish motion control designer and manufacturer, has recently added a wireless industrial Ethernet communication option to its ServoStep integrated stepper motor series. Available from Mclennan, JVL’s UK distribution partner, the new wireless option supports Profinet, EtherNet/IP and ModbusTCP/UDP protocols and is available across JVL’s MIS and MIL series integrated motors in NEMA sizes 17 and 43, offering output torques from 0.3 to 25 Nm.

Precision sensor supplier Micro-Epsilon has extended its thicknessGAUGE range of inline thickness measurement systems with an O-frame version for precise thickness measurements of plastic strip, coatings, film and sheet materials, up to 3mm thick and for web widths up to a maximum of 1,250mm. The complete ‘out-of-the-box’ solution for thickness gauging and quality control comprises a compact, sturdy base frame, an integrated control cabinet and an aluminium measuring roller.
