LOCTITE has announced the launch of a new portfolio of adhesive solutions designed to meet the growing needs of the e-Mobility repair sector.

Rockwell Automation has announced the launch of SecureOT solution suite, a comprehensive industrial cybersecurity offering designed to help manufacturers and critical infrastructure protect critical operations and build secure environments.

ProcessMaster, ABB's next generation electromagnetic flowmeters, are now available with Ethernet-APL (Advanced Physical Layer) connectivity, allowing for high-speed transmission of field data. By expanding its portfolio of APL-enabled instrumentation, ABB continues to bring the benefits of Ethernet communication to industrial operations.

Mobile machinery applications often demand sensors that can withstand harsh outdoor conditions, such as extreme temperatures, wet environments, dust, aggressive chemicals, along with other challenges. To meet these demands Sensor expert Baumer has developed the UF401V, a new ultrasonic sensor which is ideally suited for mobile machines.

PI (Physik Instrumente) offers a new 6-axis variant of its successful F-141 PINovAlign automated fibre alignment system. The F-141 is a compact, cost-optimised high-performance alignment solution providing precision motion in 2, 3, 4 and degrees of freedom for the industrial test and assembly of photonic integrated circuits (PICs), fibres and fibre array units (FAU).

The steute business division Controltec has expanded its range of wireless foot switches to include a variant developed specifically for heavy-duty applications such as welding stations.

With decades of precision measurement expertise, HBK is helping robots "feel" and interact with their environment safely and intelligently. We spoke to Ryan Young, Global Head of Engineering - OEM Sensors, who heads up development of customised 6-DoF force/torque sensors for OEMs to find out more.

Achieving equivalent forces to hydraulic designs, electric linear actuators are more precise and reliable, and they're also less expensive to run. When upgrading to an electric linear actuator, accurate sizing of the existing application is crucial to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective specification, as Gerard Bush, engineer at INMOCO, explains.

Automated liquid dispensing machines rely on high precision and repeatable performance, and operating within a laboratory setting, they must also occupy a compact footprint. The electric drive system responsible for the motion of the pipetting head is a crucial component to meet these needs. Sandro Walter, maxon's Business Development Manager for Laboratory Automation, presents the key design considerations.

The FL mGuard 2102 and FL mGuard 4302 Gigabit security routers from Phoenix Contact combine mGuard security software with powerful hardware. They are designed to protect industrial networks against unauthorised access or malware intrusion.
