B&R appoints new UK managing director
B&R has appointed Alan Conn as its new managing director for the UK and Ireland. Alan joins from Bosch Rexroth, where he held various sales management positions supporting OEM, end user and distribution businesses over the last nine years.
From 2012 to 2016 Alan was national sales manager for Bosch Rexroth’s factory automation business unit, covering technology areas including drives, controls, linear motion, assembly and hydraulics. He will take over the daily business of B&R’s UK and Ireland operations from August.
“I am delighted to join the world’s largest privately owned company in the field of industrial control and monitoring,” he says. “B&aR already has a strong presence in the UK and Ireland, and I’m looking forward to leading and developing this further with the team.”
